Change of blogs!

I try to stay signed in to this blog but it always logs me out! The whole "google account" thing confuses me and it takes me forever to log back in (since this account is under my best friend's email which is not a google account). Anyway I will now ONLY be updating on my other blog (that I mentioned before) that I find much easier to use! (http://create-inspire-progress.tumblr.com) Plus, I think my friend would like for me to stop creeping and signing into her email in order to find the directions to log in to this thing (; If you want to stay in contact with me and have a facebook then mine is: www.facebook.com/pangan33

Tuesday I have to go back to my oncologist to check my blood count again (hopefully for one of the last times). Hopefully everything went back to normal. I have been taking my iron tablets every single day. THEN finally plan my much anticipated PET scan. So again, once I find the results I will post them on my other blog. I really cannot wait much longer!

Love.Love.Love.

PS: My neuropathy in my hands/fingers went away. Yay! Definitely highlight of my week! ;)

Oh and I will still check this blog until it logs me out. After that, see you all on my other blog!!

A little bit more waiting...

I had the visit with my oncologist and he said I have to wait another 2 weeks to plan the PET scan due to my white blood count and hemoglobin being low. (aka: back to being anemic! Boo.) Those need to repair themselves, then I can get the scan. I may find the results out around my 20th birthday! (Feb. 11th). What a great birthday present that would be!

Bittersweet.

This past Thursday, my grandpa passed away. It all went so fast. After we received the good news about the tumor, it all went downhill from there...quickly. The hospice care was fantastic though, and my family was just happy that he was at our home with all of us around him and not alone in the hospital. He lived such an amazing 88 years. He was such a special person and I am so happy that I got to spend so many wonderful years with him! (Both my grandparents moved in with us years ago which was one of the greatest decisions.) I feel so blessed that I got so much time with him because most people don't have that chance due to distance, etc. He is in such a better place now and I know I can still talk to him all the time. :)

On a lighter note, I have finished chemotherapy and I have never been more happy! However, this treatment I got sick...a lot! It lasted about a week but today I am feeling better than ever. Tuesday I have a visit with my oncologist to plan my PET scan. I am thinking it will be scheduled for the following week. I will post all about that the next time. I am anxious and excited to find out the results!
I definitely feel cancer-free! Crossin' my fingers :)

Lots of love! :)
